Biography

Jeff Wagner’s life is guided by the principle, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. But first, do no harm.” His journey from the rugged Yukon Territory to blockchain innovation showcases resilience, reinvention, and entrepreneurial grit.

Roots in Faith, Grit, and Adaptability

Growing up near the Alaska border in the Yukon, Jeff learned survival skills from his parents and First Nation elders—lessons that saved his life and taught him grit and adaptability. He developed a passion for extreme snowboarding, culminating in heliboarding peaks near the Juneau icefields.

At six, his family joined a conservative church, and by 11, his father became a pastor. By 12, Jeff began earning his own money, from mowing lawns to running a fish guiding business during college. His father, an excellent negotiator, passed on those skills, which Jeff used to turn around a failing business in his mid-20s. By 37, he had sold his stake and moved his family to Montevideo, Uruguay—just months before the 2008 financial crisis.

Entrepreneurial Resilience and Reinvention

The move to Uruguay marked a turning point. Jeff faced significant financial losses in the stock market and an unexpected hospitalization due to a skin infection. Healing physically, mentally, and spiritually, he returned to Canada with his family, settling on Vancouver Island and taking a job in the modular home industry.

Within a few years, Jeff partnered with business owners to create a new company importing prefabricated log structures from Estonia. The European craftsmanship paid off, and within three years, the company grew to over 12 dealerships across British Columbia with a strong bank account. However, when Jeff unexpectedly went through a divorce, he chose to shut down the business to focus on raising his two teenage sons full-time.

A New Chapter: Bitcoin and Blockchain

Jeff’s entrepreneurial spirit remained undiminished. While exploring Bitcoin, he took the "orange pill" in 2015, realizing its world-changing potential as "freedom money." Today, Jeff and his wife—happily married for over seven years—own a business that mines Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin and develops blockchain applications. Together, they empower others to achieve financial independence through blockchain technology.



As an educator, Jeff created Crypto Empowerment, a course designed to take individuals from beginners to intermediate in blockchain and cryptocurrency knowledge.

Current Ventures

Jeff also serves as the project manager for a multi-million-dollar Bitcoin mining operation in West Texas, providing fractional ownership opportunities and ensuring secure, seamless participation for clients. His leadership reflects decades of entrepreneurial experience and a passion for empowering others through blockchain technology.
